Ghanaian award-winning star Gyakie has been called among the other notable artists to perform at the ‘City Splash Fest’ at Brockwell Park in Brixton, United Kingdom.
Gyakie’s growth musically in tandem with her growing success is undeniably clear.
Her hit song ‘Forever’ peaked in 2021 earning the artiste millions of streams across over a hundred countries.
In the lineup shared and announced earlier this week on the ‘City Splash’ Facebook page, Gyakie who is the only Ghanaian act on the bill now will be sharing the stage with other reggae, dancehall, and afrobeat artistes across the globe.
Legendary Jamaican artiste, Chronixx, has been named as the headline act with support from Koffee, Shenseea, Iration Steppas, Ras Kwame, Pioneer b2b Supa D ft Cold Steps and many more.
City Splash is a huge spectacular festival where Dancehall, reggae, and afrobeat music are celebrated.
The festival celebrates Caribbean and African culture is slated for Wednesday, May 29, 2023.

Dubbed ‘London’s Biggest Celebration of Reggae, Dancehall & Afrobeats music’, the City Splash festival in London is one not to miss.
City Splash will have seven stages for performances from 60 artists with a heavy focus on reggae and dancehall. Dancehall music is a rhythm-heavy subgenre of reggae originating in the 1970s in Jamaica.
Other artists confirmed for the day aside from the ones named above include Big Zeeks, Channel one, Ayra Starr, Dankie Sounds, Dubwise Jamaica, and General Levy to name just a few.
When thinking of Jamaican and Caribbean culture, mouthwatering food often springs to mind, and City Splash will hold no bars when it comes to feeding the masses.
A number of street food vendors in collaboration with Black Eats LDN will be there on the day, featuring the classics such as jerk chicken, jollof rice, fried plantains, and vegan ital stew.
To quench your thirst after a feast of flavors, a number of rum vendors will be on hand and locally brewed craft beers, spirits, and stouts will be available.
