Marie Wiseborn, the United Kingdom (UK) based Ghanaian who recently married Nigerian gospel musician, Moses Bliss Uyoh Enang has given her personal opinion on makeup.
Wiseborn stated that there was a time when she bought an eyeshadow named “Jezebel” which made her dislike such items.
She mentioned that names have a powerful impact and that using a name like “Jezebel” for a product could negatively impact people and it is not preferable to her.
“There are some makeup brands and palettes that I stay away from because I believe that names have power. Like, when you look at the Bible, when they name somebody something, it’s important. I bought an eyeshadow palette. There was one color called ‘Jezebel’. I said I will not use it,” she said.
“There were other palettes called things like lust and seduction. I said we don’t do this today. I am mindful of that because I believe names carry power. Why would you name something ‘Jezebel’,” she quizzed.
Wiseborn further noted that regardless of her personal opinion, she does not see makeup to be demonic.
“I don’t think makeup is demonic for me. There are women of God who wear makeup and are moving in the power of God, and their ministry is impacting people. So I don’t think makeup is bad,” she stated.
Nigerian singer Moses Bliss’s bride, Marie Wiseborn became the talk of the town when pictures and videos from their wedding went viral.

Marie Adds New Name To Social Media Bio

Marie Wiseborn, the wife of Moses Bliss, changed her name on her social media pages less than 24 hours after their white wedding.
It was reported that Moses and his Ghanaian-British wife shut down the city of Accra, Ghana, with their white wedding ceremony.
The adorable couple tied the knot in a customary wedding showcasing a mix of Ghanaian-Nigerian cultures on Thursday, February 29.
A look at Marie Wiseborn’s official Instagram page showed she included the name ‘Marie Bliss’ on her bio.
Marie also shared heartwarming pictures of her in her wedding gown. She expressed gratitude over the success of her wedding with the gospel singer.
“There are many plans in a man’s heart, Nevertheless the LORD’s counsel—that will stand. ~ Proverbs 19:21. Lord your daughter is grateful for all you have done. #foreverbliss #mmbliss24,” Marie wrote.
Videos from Moses Bliss’ wedding saw when his wife, Marie Wiseborn, showed off some impressive dance steps. The captivating clip saw Marie ecstatic about her big day as she passed her joy through her body movements.
However, what caught the attention of many was the first 12 seconds of displaying the signature dance steps, which attracted the musician to her Instagram chat.

It can be recalled that Marie Wiseborn advised single ladies against emulating her dance which led to her marriage.
The Ghanaian-British lawyer mentioned this at Perez Chapel International, Accra, Ghana, during a gospel concert held to celebrate their wedding.
The concert featured many Nigerian gospel artists like Nathaniel Bassey, Chioma Jesus, Joe Praize, Sonnie Badu, Yadah, Victor Thompson, and Yinka Okeleye among others.
Her husband, Moses Bliss, invited her to the stage during his performance.
Speaking at the event, Marie reflected on their love story, triggered by her viral video of a dancing challenge to Bliss’ hit song, ‘Miracle No Dey Tire Jesus’, in January 2023.
Marie cautioned the singles against assuming that emulating her dance would lead to similar relationship outcomes.
“I have seen a lot of people doing the same dance I did on Instagram; it’s not that you danced my dance that you will get my result (married),” Marie said.
