Nigerian reality TV star and influencer, Tacha has once again professed her undying love for Nicki Minaj, calling the rap icon her “mother” and revealing the extent of her admiration.
The BBNaija alum expressed her deep connection to Nicki, even claiming she’d be willing to go to extreme lengths for the superstar who follows her on Instagram.
Recalling her university days, Tacha revealed that she used to be likened to the rap queen.
“I am Nicki’s biggest fan, she is my mother and that’s the word right now. She is literally my mother, literally, back in uni people used to call me Nicki Minaj. I would look like her and use different bright eyeshadow and colored lips, so they called me Nicki Minaj back then.
“I’m obsessed with Nicki Minaj and I love her story so much. She is everything and more so if you look up to her, I still want to be this person 20 years from now. Nicki is a mother!”
Tacha
Tacha stressed that her admiration for Nicki Minaj extends beyond just the fandom, crediting the rapper’s journey and resilience as a source of inspiration for her.
“Anybody hating right now loves you deep down, they’re just pretending. I would steal Nicki Minaj, I would go to prison for her even. She has been there for so many years, since the young money days.”
Tacha
The influencer also humorously admitted to being protective of her idol, declaring she would defend Nicki’s honor in person if necessary. She stated, “I don’t get into arguments about her on Twitter but if someone comes to argue with me about her in real life, I have your time. “
The influencer urged the rapper to visit Nigeria.
“She hasn’t even come to Lagos yet, just been speaking Naija pidgin English everywhere. She really needs to come, all Nigerians are barbs and there’s no conversation.”

Tacha On Why She Relocated Abroad

Popular BBNaija star, Tacha opened up about the reasons behind her choice to permanently relocate to the UK from Nigeria.
The reality TV star revealed that she is representing Nigeria in the UK.
“With me being in the UK, I am representing Nigeria. I’ve already conquered the whole of the Nigerian market. Relocating to the UK doesn’t mean that I won’t take Naija deals. If the money is good, fine, why not?”
Tacha
Tacha opened up about the challenges of working in the Nigerian market and her aspirations in the UK.
She noted an instance where she was underpaid for an influencing gig she was involved in, noting that situations like that happen often in Nigeria.
“With the influencing scene in Naija, it looks so beautiful but behind the scenes, it’s not as beautiful because the money is shit. Imagine someone wanting to pay you six million which is About 3 thousand dollars for six months, and they want you to influence and post two videos a month. These videos need to be created o!”
Tacha
She expressed dissatisfaction with the economic realities of Nigeria, stressing that while the influencer market in Nigeria appears thriving on the surface, the compensation often falls short.
“After I left the BBNaija in 2019. I started getting gigs and the money was the same as what I just mentioned and it made sense then, at least we could book a plane ticket with it. But right now, 3k dollars is nothing.
“Everyone in Nigeria is going through the hard economic times in Nigeria right now. The brands, companies, and even the people, so unless you’re doing some underhand businesses you won’t have money in excess.”
