Hollard Ghana’s Asomdwee MSME Insurance Wins Product of the Year for the Second Time at the 37th CIMG Awards

Hollard Ghana with subsidiaries Hollard Insurance and Hollard Life has won the Product of the Year Award (Services) for its innovative Asomdwee MSME Insurance for the second time at the 37th Annual National Marketing Performance Awards organised by the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Ghana (CIMG).

The recognition celebrates Asomdwee’s contribution to making insurance more accessible and relevant to Ghana’s micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), a vital segment of the economy that often faces challenges accessing affordable and appropriate insurance protection.

Developed through a strategic partnership between Hollard Ghana and a Trade Association, Asomdwee MSME Insurance was designed to address the everyday risks and vulnerabilities faced by small businesses. This inclusive insurance solution offers comprehensive protection against risks such as fire, flood and allied perils, damage to business assets and public liability. It also extends protection to employees and business owners against life-altering events, including disability and critical illness. By providing this multi-dimensional safety net, Asomdwee empowers entrepreneurs to protect their livelihoods, strengthen business resilience and secure a more sustainable future.

Commenting on the award, Daniel Boi Addo, Managing Director of Hollard Insurance, said:

“Every business is built on people and protecting them is just as important as protecting the business itself. Through Asomdwee’s embedded life benefits, we extend financial protection to business owners and their workers, helping safeguard the families and futures that depend on them. That is what meaningful insurance should do, and we are proud to make it possible”,Sosthenes Konutsey, Managing Director of Hollard Life, added.

The award reinforces Hollard Ghana’s commitment to making insurance accessible and relevant. With its flexible bronze, silver and gold packages, Asomdwee offers businesses of different sizes affordable, tailored protection, ensuring that both small and growing enterprises can safeguard what matters most.
