RuffTown Music CEO Ricky Nana Agyemang also known as Bullet has disclosed that the label is planning on flying their signee Wendy Shay out of the country for medical care.
The ‘Survivor’ hitmaker, Wendy Shay last Sunday was involved in an accident on the Kwabenya Road.
Though the car being used by the musician got damaged, she and her Personal Assistant who was in the car managed to survive the fatal accident which could have claimed their lives. Wendy was rushed to the hospital for treatment and she has been on admission from that day up until today.
Her Manager and CEO of the label, Bullet, disclosed that the musician suffered a fractured nose while her PA got away with minor injuries. He further added that Wendy Shay is doing very well and would be discharged from the hospital but they are planning on having a serious check-up on her.
“It was very severe. It was extremely severe. She has spent five days in the hospital. Right now, what we are planning to do is to fly her to Germany for further medical checks. We are going to see the police this morning. We have been there, and they said they have to test the car and everything. We hope they get done soon”.
Bullet
He revealed that Wendy Shay was returning home after a video shoot for her new song when the accident occurred.
“Imagine your car being hit by a tipper truck with gravels and stones. It was extremely severe. When you see how heavy the tipper truck was and how it hit her from behind, it was serious. She was getting off the highway trying to branch home and the tipper truck came from behind. There’s no way a tipper truck can hit a Jeep Wrangler from behind and the person will survive it. According to an eye witness, the tipper truck was a high speed”.
Bullet
Bullet disclosed that at the time of the incident, he was trying to promote Wendy’s new songs and he had to return immediately after he got the news.
Bullet on Wendy Shay’s accident
Bullet debunked rumors that he is an occultist who sacrifices his acts at the peak of their career for unknown reasons.
Moments after his artiste got involved in an accident, some Ghanaians took to the X platform, to rebuke him following the death of his artist, Ebony Reigns.
Since 2018 to date, accusing fingers have been pointed at Bullet for the death of his first female artiste, Ebony Reigns. Although Ebony died in a tragic motor accident, some netizens have accused Bullet of being responsible for her death.
He revealed that he is a Christian and would never join any spiritual cult to sacrifice his artists.
“Who would invest so much in an artiste and say I want to kill her at the time when I am supposed to get returns from my investment?”, Bullet questioned.
“I have not been to any juju. I don’t know if it’s a spiritual attack. I’m taking this very seriously and imagine if Wendy had died, where would I have been by now? Ghanaians would say I have used her for blood money. I am worried and the things I am hearing are so sad. If I were in their shoes, I would say the same”.
Bullet
Bullet described it as disheartening and unwise.
“Now more people are saying that Bullet is an occultist. Bullet is into occultism. Bullet has been sacrificing his artists but it just doesn’t make sense. They say anytime my artists are in their prime, I kill them and bring in another one”, he said.
He further noted that he is not going to give up on his management because he believes it is a call from God, adding that he has prayed to God that this should not happen again.
“You see, whatever I’m doing I see it as a calling. Because somebody would have given up even after Ebony’s death. I see it as a calling and once I know it is not coming from me, I’m not going to give up. I’ve been a fighter all my life… I’m never going to give up. But what I can say is that there’s never going to be another death here. It will never happen. What just happened is a wake-up call for me to wake up spiritually. That’s faith. The enemy is always around and I have to really pray harder. I would have quit if not for the calling. I mean the insult alone and the tag”.
