Former Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Samuel Koku Anyidoho has claimed that it would be disastrous for the NDC if the party’s National Chairman, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah does not end his four-year tenure.
He said that the party will sink into the depths of darkness and be disgraced if Asiedu Nketiah is not forced out of this position with immediate effect. “We cannot continue with him, we will get him out,” Anyidoho asserted.
The position of Johnson Asiedu’s chairmanship has recently been involved in a lot of questioning after it was purported that he orchestrated the reshuffling of the Minority caucus leadership in parliament by serving as the ring leader.
However, Asiedu Nketiah has severally on platforms, maintained that the change was the best thing for the NDC party due to the current economy the country finds itself in, and held that the newly selected leadership will lead the NDC into claiming power when contested for in the next elections.
Koku Anyidoho and many other NDC MPs disagree with the Chairman of the NDC’s ideas and claimed that this idea will cause more harm than good to the party with a crashing effect.

Asiedu Nketiah And Mahama Overwhelmed By NDC Supporters.
The Former President, John Dramani Mahama was in the United Kingdom for a presentation on the platform of the Chatham House Africa Program. He served as a spokesperson on this fine stage.
As part of the Former Presidents visits to the United Kingdom, Mahama and other leading members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), including the Chairman of the party, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, met the party’s supporters in the UK and Ireland.
This led to a very interesting encounter where both the Former President and the current Chairman of the National Democratic Congress; Asiedu Nketiah were swept off their feet by a blessing which could be a consideration for most. The fact that they were met with acceptance, relief and an uplifting attitude, then it could be considered a blessing.
The plan was to meet up with the supporters of the NDC in the UK and Ireland but to their surprise, Mahama was singled with showers of praise and told by all who were present that he was the right person for the job. They claimed that if he would contest again, they would rally their votes behind him and as such he should rethink his motives and re-enter into the 2024 elections as flag bearer of the NDC.
The NDC supporters who met the former president outside the building of the meeting place began to serenade and honor him with accolades as he proceeded to the meeting place but once he made an entrance to the meeting place, he was overwhelmed by the level at which the sense of appreciation accelerated to.
The supporters in their songs of praise called for Mahama to come back to lead the nation; Ghana again, because they know that the nation needed him in order to rise. They described him as someone who delivers on his promises unlike Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
“The blessing of Mahama is coming again. Coming again, again, again. Oh ye bo ne din sen; Mahama, Mahama. Oh ye fre ne sen; Mahama, Mahama. He is a gentleman,” sang joyfully by the present party members.
Asiedu Nketiah, popularly referred to as General Nketiah by those familiar with him, was shocked and in awe at what had happened. He could not say much but he sure was happy that they still had much support after all that had happened especially with the change in leadership in the Minority Caucus.
