Popular Nigerian Gospel singer, songwriter, Frank Edwards has backlashed Nigerians tweeting and making the divorce of Billionaire Bill Gates and his wife Melinda their main topic for discussion as he asked them to focus on matters concerning Nigeria.

According to him, there are pressing issues such as kidnappings and killings going on in the country therefore Nigerians should rather channel their attention to such issues and stop speaking on issues that aren’t their business.

He tweeted: “Kidnappings are going on in Nigeria! People are being killed. And Nigerians are busy talking about bill gates divorce?!!! What is my business? Was I even born when they started the marriage?!! Pls, let’s focus inward!”.

His tweet was received with several reactions from netizens. Some were of the opinion that they won’t let the issues of Nigeria bother them any longer since their leaders are not even willing to listen to them. According to them, “if you follow Nigerian problems, you will fall into depression”.
