After several questioning as to who brought alleged nemesis, Davido and Wizkid to reconcile, Israel DMW, who is the personal assistant of Davido, has come out to claim that he is the one behind the settlement of the two artists.
This comes after Wizkid and Davido bumped into each other at a nightclub in Lagos and showed each other love in the full glare of the public. Davido and Wizkid gave each other a warm hug as they exchanged fond pleasantries and they looked happy to see each other. The photos and videos were shared on social media which attracted a lot of reactions from social media users.
Now, the aide of Davido, Israel DMW is alleging that he is the one behind the settlement of the two artists. According to Israel, he is the real initiator of the final settlement between Davido and Wizkid. He then questioned “what was the quarrel about in the first place?” and further stated that the year 2022 is supposed to be filled with peace.
Well, Israel’s disclosure has triggered hostile responses from many netizens as they troll him for always trying to get attention on social media. Some netizens cautioned him to mind the way he talks online else, it will land him getting sacked from his job.
Wizkid, Davido’s reconciliation set Internet agog
The two artists, Davido and Wizkid, have been at loggerheads with each other over years of alleged rivalry. This caused some tension between the fans of these two artists on social media. However, Wizkid, and his superstar colleague, Davido, got fans and music lovers excited as the duo were pictured and videoed sharing a warm hug in a Lagos nightclub.
In the video that went viral online, Davido and Wizkid could be seen hugging each other passionately and exchanging pleasantries at the club, as fun lovers in attendance squealed in excitement.
Reacting to the reconciliation, popular singer, Innocent Idibia took to his Instagram page to express his joy. According to him, “This puts a smile” on his face.
Rapper, Yusuf Sodiq, popularly known as CDQ, also wrote, “I just woke up now to a video of Wizkid and David hugging each other. Finally, after I suffered for years trying to balance the relationship between both [of them]”.
According to CDQ, Wizkid would say to him, “‘Your brother is hosting a show, won’t you support him?'” On the other hand, Davido would also tell him, “‘Tell your brother to bring a jam; let us work'”. CDQ noted that this was how he knew that Davido and Wizkid have love for each other and that they have been inspiring each other to go harder.
“Today I am the happiest person on earth, and I feel like buying cows to throw a big party. Now, both of you should give us that collaboration that the world has been waiting for in 2022. The song arrangement should be four ‘bars’ each for Wizkid and Davido. Burna Boy would then sing the chorus. Let’s make Nigeria number one in the world”.

Meanwhile, some fans are wondering when Davido and Burna Boy will also put their alleged ‘beef’ to an end. However, it is worth noting that Burna Boy earlier announced on his Instagram story that he has settled his rift with Davido.
“For your information, I have no issues with Davido. We are ‘good’ now. Davido was ‘trying’ me but we figured it out. In 2022, we all must love ourselves by force. If not, let’s just kill ourselves because there are no middle grounds anymore. Forward ever and backward never”.
