Prophet Dr. Kofi Oduro, the founder of Alabaster International Ministry, claimed that he required a partner with whom he could easily connect, laugh around with, and have a positive effect on their offspring.

The enthusiastic preacher claims that his goal since childhood when he first observed problems in the marriages of most pastors, was to marry a friend.

In a conversation about his marriage in an interview, Prophet Dr. Kofi Oduro recalled occasions when he and his wife would arrive home but would remain in their car for three hours or even longer before stepping out.

Again, he recounted how he had to fight for his love ‘Dede Rita’ when many were against him for marrying from the Krobo tribe.

Prophet Dr. Kofi Oduro said that he was in a period where he knew he had to fight for his better half the more because he did not like the tribal remarks people were making about his love.

He claimed because he and his wife crack joke around, make fun of one another, and go about their daily lives together, he got everything he wanted from a woman from her.

To briefly put it, Prophet Dr. Kofi Oduro claimed that he wed Reverend Mrs. Rita Dede Oduro because he needed someone he could easily connect with.

He advised Christians to pray before selecting a life partner because, in his opinion, the person you end up with has the power to either make you or break you.

He said that his wife was not one of the ten ladies he had prayed to choose from, but he ultimately chose her because the Lord had directed him to do so.

The Kofi Oduro on the pulpit is not same at home

Rev. Rita Oduro, the wife of Prophet Dr. Kofi Oduro, the man of God renowned for his audacity and fearlessness in public speaking, has disclosed that her husband is a completely different person at home.

Many people, according to Mama Rita, think that her husband will be a challenging individual in nature, just as he is loud in his words when preaching the word of God.

However, Mama Rita said that the well-known preacher has a different approach to domestic matters.

The couple, who would be married for 24 years this year, shared their successful marriage story in an interview.

Speaking about their marital journey, Mrs. Oduro said that her husband, the Founder, and Leader of the Alabaster International Ministry, is remarkably composed, kind, and easygoing.

She went on and said;

“Although he is loud and strict, once you get to know him, there’s always peace and the love is endless.

“Papa is not a difficult guy, but I have come to know that because of his mandate in life, he comes across as very loud when he is preaching. Many people mistakenly believe that is how he acts at home, but that is not the case”.

She quickly clarified, though, that if you ignore Dr. Oduro’s orders, he won’t think twice before firing you.

She added saying;

“Since we’ve been together for a while, I’ve studied him and am aware of his likes and dislikes. Thanks to the Lord’s mercies, my children and I are following his lead. If he instructs you to sit down and you continue standing, he won’t be satisfied with it, he will be enraged”.
