The Director of Communications for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Richard Ahiagbah, has revealed that the conference held by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in reaction to President Akufo-Addo’s State of the Nation Address (SONA) is an attempt to mislead and incite Ghanaians.

According to him, the move by the opposition party smack of an insincere motive to discredit the governing party and trivialize the predicament the country is currently experiencing.

“The NDC’s SONA is a dismal and insincere attempt to misrepresent and incite Ghanaians. When NPP gave its SONAs in opposition, the state of Ghana was truly weak and in crisis from the mismanagement of the NDC government. Ghanaians know we are in difficulties because of Covid and Ukraine war.”
