Poland Proposes New Sanction on Russia

In other developments, Poland has proposed a new set of sanctions on Russia, including a ban on an oil pipeline, and diamonds amid its ongoing invasion of Ukraine.

The proposal in question, was sent to the European Union Executive Commission. However, all 27 nations in the European Commission must agree unanimously, to impose the sanction.

This comes after the European Union has already announced 10 rounds of sanctions against Moscow, since the beginning of the Russia-Ukraine invasion.

The Polish President, Andrzej Duda, has been criticizing the invasion of Ukraine, a nation Poland shares border with.
