Fast-rising Ghanaian musician, King Paluta has finally responded to entertainment pundit Kwaku Osei Koranteng Asiedu, popularly known as KOKA’s, controversial comments about his vocals on the song ‘Makoma’.

King Paluta expressed his disagreement with KOKA’s assessment of his vocal ability in the song.

The musician suggested that KOKA’s critique might have been influenced by the circumstances surrounding him when he first listened to the track.

“I don’t know the kind of mood KOKA was in when he made those comments about my vocal ability. You can sometimes get annoyed with a particular song when you hear it being played everywhere you go. Maybe he was annoyed with the song when he sat there to make his comments.”

King Paluta also noted that many of his colleagues, renowned for their singing prowess in the industry, have praised his vocal ability, making it difficult for him to understand KOKA’s criticism.

“Our own industry singers have called to tell me I don’t sound like a rapper trying to sing. They have recognized me as a singer, so they don’t understand why it took me so long to transition into singing. I don’t know what senior man (KOKA) is talking about.”

The ‘Aseda’ hitmaker further mentioned that his unique tone of voice has earned him praise from music producer Kaywa, whom he described as having a great musical mind.

King Paluta was brought to tears during a performance in the United Kingdom.

The Ghanaian musician, whilst performing at a show in London, broke down emotionally on stage following the unwavering support and chants from the audience.

King Paluta was singing his ‘Aseda’ hit track, and some fans showed up on stage to spray money on him.

Amid the fans’ kind gestures and excitement over King Paluta’s performance, he retreated from the crowd, walked close to the backstage, sat on the floor, and shed tears.

After being engulfed in his emotional state, King Paluta stood up, walked to the stage again, removed his jacket, and resumed his performance with more energy. The moment was captured in a short video posted on social media.

Accordingly, some fans have been reacting to the video. “When it’s your time, no man can stop it,” an Instagrammer said with another adding, “When it’s your time, no man can stop it, Awwww😢😢😢shine on it’s your time.”

The comments come from the back of the reasons that King Paluta has been singing for over a decade but is now experiencing his breakthrough.

His ‘Yahitte Remix’, which features Strongman, Amerado, Qwame Stika, and Andy Dosty, was released a year ago and fetched him wide recognition.
