The historic show is scheduled for Saturday, August 15, 2026, at the 12,500-capacity OVO Arena Wembley m,arking the first time a Ghanaian artist headlines the prestigious venue.
Stonebwoy made the announcement on X (formerly Twitter) on May 19, writing: “Coming to LONDON with the Legend. I am glad to announce that @kbkbmuzic will be performing live at @bhimfestival in London at the OVO Arena Wembley on August 15.”
The post, featuring a sleek promotional video and striking artist visuals, has sparked massive excitement among fans of both artists. This collaboration represents a powerful meeting of two distinct yet complementary eras in Ghanaian music.

Stonebwoy, the energetic force behind modern Afro-dancehall, and Kwabena Kwabena, the smooth-voiced custodian of contemporary highlife, promise a night of genre-blending magic that celebrates Ghana’s rich musical heritage on a global stage.
Kwabena Kwabena: The Highlife Icon
Born George Kwabena Adu on October 17, 1978, in Bubuashie, Accra, Kwabena Kwabena is a multifaceted talent musician, guitarist, producer, and former draftsman. His unique name reflects his dual vocations before music took center stage.
He began playing guitar in church at age 14 and honed his craft through backing vocals and features before breaking through in 2004 with his debut album Aso. The title track and other songs from the album became massive hits, with several featured in the soundtrack of the hit Ghanaian film The Perfect Picture.
Classics like “Ka Kyere Me,” “Trodom,” “Fakye Me,” “Adult Music,” and “Bue Kwan” established him as a household name, earning awards for Best Vocal Performance and Best Songwriter. His soulful, melodic style blending highlife with reflective, romantic, and socially conscious themes has endured for over two decades.

Kwabena Kwabena’s influence extends beyond music. He founded the KwabenaKwabena Save A Life Foundation, focusing on philanthropy, and hosts annual Valentine’s “Love Night” concerts.
In 2025, he celebrated 20 years since Aso with a star-studded remix of the title track featuring Stonebwoy and Kofi Kinaata – a collaboration that beautifully set the stage for their upcoming live reunion at Wembley.
Stonebwoy: The Torcher Bringing It Home
Livingstone Etse Satekla, known globally as Stonebwoy, has emerged as one of Africa’s most dynamic cultural ambassadors. Hailing from the Volta Region, the BET Award-winning artist (Best International Act: Africa, 2015) built his reputation on high-energy Afro-dancehall and reggae fused with Ghanaian roots.
Albums like Anloga Junction (which charted on Billboard World Albums) and recent projects such as TORCHER II showcase his evolution while maintaining cultural pride.
Through Burniton Music Group, Stonebwoy has transformed BHIM Festival into a flagship celebration of Ghanaian music and culture. Previous editions in Ghana have drawn tens of thousands, hosting international and local stars.
The London debut is a self-produced milestone that underscores his vision of taking Ghanaian sounds to the world. The pairing of Stonebwoy’s explosive stage presence with Kwabena Kwabena’s timeless melodies creates an irresistible bill.

Fans are already anticipating renditions of “Aso,” highlife classics, and signature Torcher anthems. DopeNation is also confirmed on the bill, adding further youthful energy to the night.
Headlining OVO Arena Wembley as a Ghanaian artist with a self-curated festival is groundbreaking. It highlights the growing global appeal of Ghanaian music and the strong connection with the diaspora in the UK and Europe.
For many, this will be a homecoming experience a night to celebrate identity, heritage, and musical excellence in one of the world’s iconic arenas. As August 15 approaches, the synergy between Stonebwoy and Kwabena Kwabena symbolizes continuity and innovation in Ghanaian music.
One brings the fire of the new generation; the other, the soul of the classics. Together, they are set to deliver a memorable chapter in live African music history.
