Young Apostles FC have bolstered their off the pitch structure with the appointment of Vincent Henneh as the club’s new Communications and Brand Manager ahead of the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League season.

The Wenchi based club announced the appointment on Friday, July 31, as part of its preparations for the new campaign, adding an experienced communications professional to its managerial team as it seeks to strengthen its corporate image and engagement with stakeholders.

Henneh arrives with extensive experience in public relations, marketing communications, sports media and brand management, having built a reputation for strategic communication and stakeholder engagement within Ghana’s sporting industry.

Young Apostles, who are preparing for their third consecutive Ghana Premier League season after making their historic top flight debut in the 2024/25 campaign, believe the appointment reflects their commitment to building a stronger institutional framework alongside their ambitions on the field.

In announcing the appointment on social media, the club welcomed Henneh to its growing management team and expressed confidence in his ability to elevate its communication efforts. “We are delighted to appoint Vincent Henneh as our Communications and Brand Manager,” the club statement read. “A new addition to our industrious managerial team.”

Before joining Young Apostles, Henneh served in a similar communications role with another Ghana Premier League side Vision FC during his time at The Business Africa Consulting Group Limited.

There, he played an instrumental role in strengthening the club’s communication strategy, improving media relations and enhancing its overall brand visibility just before and during their maiden campaign in the GPL in the 2024-25 season.

At Young Apostles, he will be responsible for leading the club’s communications strategy, overseeing media engagement, managing brand development and driving its digital presence. His duties will also include ensuring consistent messaging across the club’s communication platforms while fostering stronger relationships with supporters, commercial partners and the wider football community.

Henneh Eager to Make Immediate Impact

Speaking after his appointment, Henneh expressed gratitude to the club’s leadership for the confidence reposed in him and pledged to contribute to the continued growth of Young Apostles.

The appointment forms part of the club’s broader strategy to improve its commercial operations and reinforce its image as it prepares for another demanding Premier League campaign. Club officials are optimistic that Henneh’s experience in public relations, marketing communications and football administration will help position Young Apostles among the league’s most professionally managed clubs.

His arrival is also expected to support initiatives aimed at expanding the club’s visibility, promoting its brand and delivering timely and credible communication across all official platforms.
