The wife of Ghanaian hip-hop artist Sarkodie, Tracy Owusu Addo, better known as Tracy Sarkcess, provided a background concerning their relationship.
In the words of the businesswoman, she revealed that during the time Sarkodie was pursuing her, she resided in Germany and had contemplated whether he should join her there. She admitted to having doubts about Sarkodie’s music career at that point.
She asserted that at the time, going to Germany felt like a better option for the future of their relationship.
“I didn’t see how big he would become, I remember maybe at some point I was going to convince him to come along with me to Germany, he should find a job and let’s work, I wasn’t sure about the music,” Tracy Sarkcess stated.
She further added by asserting that their love story wasn’t a coincidence but rather a result of them staying in the same neighborhood.
“We had known each other quite a long time before I had left for Germany, we lived in the same neighborhood and I had known he liked me,” she said.
She disclosed that Sarkodie used a third party to express his profound admiration towards her as he couldn’t do so by himself.
“I knew he liked me, but he couldn’t tell me, he told my cousin, who was living with us that she should come and tell me,” she revealed.
Tracy Sarkcess is an entrepreneur and runs her own company called, “Pisces Ideas”.
She is also part of the management team of Sarkodie’s record label, Sarkcess Music.
Tracy and her husband Sarkodie have a lovely daughter named Adalyn Owusu Addo also known as Titi, and a son, Micheal Nana Yaw Owusu Addo Junior.
Fun Routine Shared At Home
The wife of celebrated Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie revealed details about the ‘fun routine’ she and her husband share at home.
She claims that they have a unique custom known as ‘Adult Time’ in which they spend the evening together, reliving their courtship years.
Tracy also emphasized that one of the reasons she admires Sarkodie is his unwavering determination and clear vision for his future endeavors.
“A fun routine would be, usually let’s say on Fridays, we try to just make sure that we’re having adult time. We go on a date once a week. We try at least to go on a date once a week,” she said.
“So if let’s say it’s Friday or something, he lets me know that tonight we are going out, so then I make sure I come back from work, and then I dress up,” Tracy further added.
Also, she stated that her husband was mean to her when they began their relationship. Still, she ignored his attitude because of the rapper’s creativity and ability to create vision, describing such abilities as a blessing.
“My husband, I do not know how to describe him but he is someone blessed with vision and he is someone who can also create a vision as he tells you what he sees,” she said.
“As a woman, when you realize you have someone like that, who also has his head at the right place, and it’s not all about the other flaws but it is really about you the person, I think you would know within you that he is the one. That is what it did for me. In as much as he was mean to me in the beginning, I let it go,” she further revealed.
