Minerals Commission is set to reinforce the nation’s status as Africa’s leading hub of mining as Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Isaac Tandoh, leads a high-powered delegation to the 2026 Prospectors & Developers Associationof Canada (PDAC) Convention.

Taking place from March 1 to 4 in Toronto, Canada, the delegation aims to pitch investment opportunities to global stakeholders, highlighting Ghana’s readiness to transform and integrate “conversations, connections and capital.”

The mission emphasizes the country’s strategic focus on advancing the industry through sustainability, AI integration, and critical mineral supply chains.

“At PDAC 2026, the Minerals Commission will showcase Ghana’s transparent mineral licensing regime and guaranteed mineral rights tenure regime. We invite the global mining and investment community to visit us at Booth #843 to engage directly with our technical and regulatory team. Explore strategic partnerships across the mining value chain and access investment-ready prospects.”

This high-level participation comes at a time when Ghana continues to demonstrate high geological potentials, regulatory certainty, and policy stability.

By attending this year’s edition of PDAC, Mr. Tandoh and his technical team intend to showcase the country’s extensive mineral reserves across its mineral value chain, particularly within the six main Paleoproterozoic Birimian volcanic belts.

These regions, including the Sefwi, Ashanti, and Asankrangwa belts, play host to high premium and strategic minerals such as Gold, Lithium, and Manganese, alongside emerging prospects in Iron ore, Nickel, and Copper.

The PDAC conference serves as a critical platform for the Minerals Commission to present a “digitized cadastral system” designed for “streamlining licencing and permitting procedures.”

By offering bankable and data-driven geological insights for both green and brown fields, Ghana positions itself as a premier destination for junior explorers and institutional investors.

This technological advancement is paired with a “competitive fiscal regime and investor protection mechanisms,” ensuring a secure environment for those seeking scalable and responsible investment opportunities.

Ghana’s presentation at the event focuses on a “predictable and robust legal framework” aimed at conflict resolution and investor protection.

The delegation is highlighting the country’s abundant opportunities in minerals such as Bauxite, Diamonds, and Tantalum, while emphasizing a “commitment to ESG compliance, local content and sustainable practices.”

Ghana’s Booth #843 will serve as a strategic engagement platform for EPCM firms and equipment manufacturers to explore the diverse geological landscape defined by the Winneba Kibi, Bole-Nangodi, and Wa-Lawra belts.

The conference provides the right environment to transform the industry by fostering “resilient partnerships with Indigenous communities” and focusing on “technological automation.”

Through direct engagement with technical service providers and major mining companies, the Minerals Commission seeks to leverage PDAC’s focus on “workforce safety” and “critical mineral supply chains.”

This comprehensive approach ensures that Ghana remains a top-tier global player, utilizing its “high premium mineral deposits” to drive industrial growth and long-term economic stability.
