Arsenal came from a goal down to beat 10-man Tottenham 2-1in the North London derby.

The Gunners, dominated the first half as Emile Smith Rowe and Cedric Soares both saw strikes hit the woodwork. However, they were behind against the run of play when Erik Lamela’s Rabona beat Bernd Leno in the 33rd minute.

Arsenal got a deserved equalizer just before half-time as Martin Odegaard turned home Kieran Tierney’s cutback. The hosts then turned the game around midway through the second half when Alexandre Lacazette scored from the penalty spot. This was after he was brought down in the 18-yard box by Davinson Sanchez.

It went from bad to worse for Tottenham as Lamela caught Tierney to pick up his second yellow card. Harry Kane had a late header disallowed for offside as Mourinho’s men went futilely in search of an equalizer.

Manchester City beat Fulham 3-0 at the Craven Cottage to stretch their lead at the top of the table.

John Stones gave City a deserved lead in the second half with a close range finish. Soon after,  Gabriel Jesus took advantage of a mix-up at the back to double the visitors’ lead.

Sergio Aguero – making his second start since October – scored the third after converting a penalty in the 60th minute. As a result, City need just 14 points from their final eight matches to be sure of the title.

Manchester United secured a 1-0 win over West Ham at Old Trafford, thanks to Craig Dawson’s second-half own goal.

After a goalless first half, the home side scored the game’s only goal in second half as Dawson headed Bruno Fernandes’ corner into his own net.

As a result, Manchester United remain second on the league table, although they are still 14 points behind Manchester City.

Chelsea’s unbeaten run under Thomas Tuchel continued with a 0-0 draw with Leeds at Elland Road.

Chelsea nearly took an early lead in unusual style as Luke Ayling’s clearance bounced off Diego Llorente back onto his own crossbar.

The hosts also struck the woodwork when Roberts’ shot hit the goalpost thanks to a fingertip touch by Edouard Mendy. Some wasteful Chelsea finishing denied them a chance to secure a winner despite registering seven shots on target.

Kelechi Iheanacho’s first Premier League hat-trick helped Leicester to an impressive 5-0 win over Sheffield United.

The Nigerian International opened the scoring in the 39th minute, tapping home a Jamie Vardy cross.

Ayoze Perez  added the second with a lovely finish in the second half, before Vardy once again set up Iheanacho for his second of the game.

The striker scored a spectacular hat-trick goal, striking home from 25 yards out. Ethan Ampadu then deflected Vardy’s cross into his own goal for Leicester’s fifth of the game.

Burnley secured a  2-1 win away at Everton to take themselves away from the relegation zone.

Chris Wood opened the scoring in the 13th minute for the Clarets before Dwight McNeil curled home a stunning effort.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin got one back for the hosts before halftime, powering home a close-range header from a Davies’ cross. This was the first goal in five matches for Everton’s leading goalscorer.

The result means Everton have won just three of the last 12 at Goodison Park.

Leandro Trossard’s second-half strike provided Brighton a 2-1 victory over Southampton, moving them three points clear of the relegation zone.

Lewis Dunk’s booming header from a corner gave Brighton the lead in the 16th minute. The lead was however cancelled out by Che Adams with his third goal in three games.

Trossard then finished off a flowing team move by firing a shot past Fraser Forster, 11 minutes after half-time.  His winner ensured Brighton ends a run of five games without victory.

Luka Milivojevic’s first half penalty was enough for Crystal Palace to beat West Brom 1-0.

Palace got the breakthrough when Wilfried Zaha’s cross hit Darnell Furlong’s arm inside the penalty box. After a lengthy VAR check, the spot kick was awarded and converted by Milivojevic in the 37th minute.

There were a handful of chances for both teams to score the next goal in the second half. But it was the penalty that was ultimately the difference.

Lascelles celebrates stoppage-time equalizer

Jamaal Lascelles’ stoppage-time header saw Newcastle snatch a 1-1 draw with Aston Villa at St James’ Park.

After a rather dull affair between the two sides, the game sparked to life in the final ten minutes. Ollie Watkins header deflected off Ciaran Clark into his own goal in the 86th-minute to give Villa the lead. However, in the 94th-minute, the Newcastle captain headed in an equalizer to rescue a point for Steve Bruce’s side.

As a result, the hosts stay 16th in the table while Dean Smith’s Aston Villa remains in ninth place.
