Ghanaian actor, comedian, and content creator Jeffrey Nortey is set to light up the National Theatre in Accra once again with the highly anticipated 3rd edition of his flagship one-man theatrical production, “3 Faces of Jeffrey Nortey”.

Scheduled for Friday, June 12, 2026, at 7:00 PM, the show promises to deliver a unique blend of comedy, storytelling, film, stage performance, and raw street energy that has become Nortey’s signature style.

This year’s edition explores three distinct worlds: Cinema (screen), Stage, and Street. According to Nortey and the production team, the concept stretches the boundaries of performance by bringing the screen to the streets and merging theatrical excellence with relatable everyday Ghanaian experiences.

Audiences can expect Nortey to seamlessly transition between multiple characters, each representing a different “face” of his creative persona from polished cinematic storytelling to gritty street humour and high-energy stage presence.

Focuz Afriq in collaboration with Kasa Entertainment is presenting the show. Previous editions have been massive successes, with the 2025 show drawing a full house at the National Theatre despite heavy rainfall.

Fans and critics praised the tight production, emotional depth, and Nortey’s ability to hold the audience’s attention throughout the performance. The 2026 edition is expected to be even bigger, with sharper focus, enhanced production elements, and deeper cultural resonance.

Born on March 18, 1988, in Accra, Jeffrey Nortey has risen rapidly in Ghana’s entertainment industry. He is best known for his viral comedy skits, often performed in the Ga language, which have helped promote and preserve Ga-Adangbe culture while tackling serious social issues such as illegal mining (galamsey), drug abuse, teenage pregnancy, and menstrual health awareness.

Nortey holds a Diploma in Journalism and a Degree in Public Relations. He blends his media background with powerful storytelling to create content that is both entertaining and thought-provoking.

His collaborations with veteran actress Kalsoume Sinare have produced some of the most popular Ga-language skits in recent years, proving that language is no barrier to quality comedy.

He has also featured in movies such as Counter Trade, The Storm, and others, establishing himself as a versatile actor.

Beyond Acting

Beyond skits, Nortey is a passionate advocate for Ghanaian culture. His stage shows stand out because they make theatre accessible and exciting for a broad audience  from young digital natives to older theatre enthusiasts. He has received multiple nominations and awards, including Best Skit Maker and Best Comic Actor at the Ghana Comedy Awards.

The poster for the show features Jeffrey Nortey in three distinct looks – a serious character in a maroon t-shirt, a confident professional in a light purple shirt and tie, and a charismatic figure with a headband – visually representing the “three faces” audiences will experience live.

As excitement builds ahead of June 12, Jeffrey Nortey’s production is not just another comedy show , it is a cultural celebration, a family reunion, and a bold statement about the power of Ghanaian storytelling.
