Luke Alexander, President and Chief Executive Officer of Newcore Gold, has expressed optimism regarding the continuous development and high-grade potential of the company’s flagship Enchi Gold Project in Ghana.
This positivity follows the latest reporting of successful drilling results targeting the Boin Gold Deposit, where all seven-reverse circulation (RC) holes intersected gold mineralization. The latest assay results feature one of the finest intercept intersections recorded on the property to date, alongside broad zones of gold mineralization exceeding the average reserve grade.
“We are excited to continue to delineate Enchi’s higher-grade potential. This drilling includes one of our best intercepts encountered to date on the Project, as well as a wide zone of above reserve grade gold mineralization. This drilling continues to demonstrate the opportunity for future mine plan optimization and the potential to incorporate additional higher-grade mineralization into future studies.”
Luke Alexander,

The technical release details assay outcomes for seven RC holes (KBRC395, KBRC396, KBRC404, and KBRC411 through KBRC414) comprising a total of 960 meters.
These targeted intercepts further solidify the operational efficiency of the ongoing exploration campaign at Enchi, which has now reached 47,100 meters drilled across 295 holes.
Crucially, a striking 99% hit rate has been achieved across all completed holes to date, reaffirming the consistency of the geological structures and the presence of widespread gold mineralization across the concession area.
Strategic Imperative of the Enchi Drilling Initiative
The necessity for this sustained drilling campaign stems from the strategic imperative to expand and optimize the existing mineral resources at Enchi. Situated in southwestern Ghana along prolific shear zone structures, the Enchi property hosts significant shallow, open-pit constrained oxide mineralization.
However, historic evaluation predominantly tested shallow depths averaging less than 125 meters.
Systematic exploration at deeper levels and untested extensions is essential to prove out higher-grade feeder zones, refine structural controls, and convert inferred resources into higher-confidence economic categories.

By consistently delivering intercepts above the current resource average grade, Newcore is addressing critical commercial and operational needs.
Uncovering zones of high-grade mineralization allows mine planners to re-evaluate early-stage production scenarios, potentially boosting head grades and enhancing project economics during initial payback periods.
Furthermore, establishing multi-kilometer structural continuity across the Boin target reinforces the broader district-scale potential of the 248-square-kilometer property package.
Mine Optimization and Economic Upside
Intersecting high-grade gold mineralization beyond current model parameters serves as a key catalyst for future technical and economic evaluations.
Incorporating these superior assay values directly supports mine plan optimization, which can significantly improve project NPV, internal rates of return (IRR), and capital recovery timelines.

“With the drill rigs turning at site, we look forward to continuing to unlock the value potential of our Enchi Gold Project in Ghana,” Alexander added, highlighting the active operational tempo.
The continuous success of the exploration initiative reinforces Ghana’s position as a premier global mining destination, attracting foreign direct investment into its extractive sector.
As drill rigs remain active on site to delineate further extensions along strike and at depth, the ongoing program continues to de-risk the deposit while establishing a solid foundation for upcoming feasibility work and eventual mine development.
Highlights Reserve Expansion Potential At Enchi Gold
The exceptional 99% hit rate achieved across nearly 300 drill holes underscores the robustness of the geological system at Enchi.
Identifying broader intercepts above reserve grade provides clear indicators that current resource boundaries remain open for expansion.

These technical milestones position the Boin Gold Deposit as a primary driver for prospective reserve growth and long-term asset value enhancement.
As Newcore maintains its active campaign in Ghana, market observers and extractive industry analysts continue to monitor how these drill results translate into upgraded mineral estimates and optimized pre-feasibility benchmarks.
The ongoing identification of high-grade structures highlights the asset’s latent capacity to evolve from a large-scale, low-grade shallow resource into a versatile, high-margin mining venture.
