This endorsement reflects GNPC’s strategic objective to empower Indigenous companies, fostering local content and ensuring that the economic benefits of Ghana’s hydrocarbon resources are retained within the country.

A critical focus of the meeting was Ghana’s current gas supply challenges, which have posed significant threats to energy stability and industrial productivity.

Hon. Bawa emphasized the vital role of natural gas in Ghana’s energy matrix, particularly its contribution to electricity generation, industrial feedstock, and economic growth.

“Gas epitomizes Ghana’s energy stability and economic progress.

“Given the extant lacuna in gas provision and output, GNPC embraces partnerships that will galvanize exploration endeavors and unearth additional gas reservoirs to energize industries and propel economic advancement.”
