Notorious blogger, Albert Nat Hyde popularly known as Bongo Ideas has disclosed how he manages to get information on celebrities in Ghana.
Bongo Ideas revealed that he usually goes to the hotels these celebrities frequent to make inquiries.
According to Bongo Ideas, when he goes to these hotels, he speaks to the receptionists who give him any information he wants.
“I go to hotels to collect information about Serwaa and other celebrities,” he stated.
Captain Smart who was baffled by the revelation wondered how he was able to get the information especially since it is supposed to be confidential, and wondered why receptionists give out sensitive information about their hotel guests to strangers.
He further added that their actions could cause harm to the person in question and as a result, these hotels should take things seriously.
Displeased with this information, Captain Smart noted that he would not allow himself to be subjected to such an infringement of privacy, stating that he would destroy the gadget used and beat the individual involved.
“If you like, try me and see. I will smash your phone. You don’t have the right. Why are you hiding to take a photo of me? Why are you hiding and taking pictures of me if you have good intentions? That is wrong. If that is what you doing stop. I won’t tolerate it. If you try that on me, I will hurt you. We shouldn’t do things like that. Serwaa Amihere and a public figure have gone to a hotel, and so what.”
Captain Smart
Bongo Ideas also reasoned and quizzed why Captain Smart would take the phone if he [Captain Smart] had nothing to hide.
The notorious blogger went ahead to narrate his ordeal after he was picked up by some people claiming to be from the Ghana Police while he was asleep around 2 am at his home in Sowutuom.
“They came as Police Officers but Ghana Police released a statement that they weren’t sanctioned police officers. In less than 24 hours, some security came to my house holding pistlos and riffles and broke my door with blocks. They came in and put me on the floor, gave me slaps, and placed the handcuffs on my hand.
“They took me to my bedroom and took my laptop, phones, and IDs and later sent me to their van and blindfolded me. That was how come I knew they were not police officers.”

He revealed that he did not know the exact place he was taken to, adding that they wanted to kill him and throw him into a river.
Bongo Ideas disclosed that he is not safe in Ghana and is looking to leave the country.
According to him, even though he wants to leave Ghana desperately for his safety, he will only opt for America.
Bongo Ideas is of the view that America will allow him to grow his craft as a Critic since the country supports free speech.
“Yeah, US bro. Apart from the US no other place. I think the US supports free speech. I think largely it is a place for growth. America has its issues but largely America is the ideal place not just for me but everyone who wants to share their opinion.”

Preference Of Mahama Over Incumbent President
Controversial blogger and critic, Bongo Ideas claims he likes the personality of the former President and flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress, John Dramani Mahama, but dislikes President Akuffo-Addo.
He claims what makes him like the former President is the way he communicates with people, stating that he did communications studies at the university.
“I have a soft spot for Mahama but I don’t belong to the NDC. I like everything about him. For the NDC as a party, I don’t follow them. There is a reason why you join a political party. I started following NDC because of Atta Mills. I like his personality at the time. I like personalities but I don’t like parties.”
Bongo Ideas
