Ghanaian actress, Gloria Sarfo has learned to keep her romantic relationships private.
According to the popular actress, she constantly gets suitors “and when I date, I give my all”.
“It was in the UK that I knew I had a lot of admirers,” she underlined, citing a time when a woman approached her in the UK, informing her her husband was so fond of her he would not stop talking about her.
“She told me she was handing the husband over to me,” Gloria said, adding she could tell the man was indeed into her, reading his body language in her presence.
Notwithstanding the great interest in her, she said she had not been lucky to get married, however.
“I’ve had a relationship that almost got into marriage. But later had issues. Unfortunately for me, that relationship was public because the person chose to do stuff publicly, even though I didn’t like it. The public relationship made people talk about me too much.”

Gloria Sarfo said due to this, “I made a vow never to make any relationship of mine public ever again”.
Even her marriage, she said, would possibly not be public.
The award-winning actress, also, observed something peculiar about her suitors. “It’s rather unfortunate that the men who are bold enough to approach us are the bad boys,” she said.
“Meanwhile, those who will treat us queenly, give you everything and their all, commit to us, respect and adore us, our families, and the universe have blinded us from seeing them.”

In 2021, Gloria shot down rumors she was in a serious relationship with Micky Osei Berko, also known as Dada Boat. She said, “We are [just] colleagues and I like him.”
Actress Demands Public Apology From AMAA Organizers
Ghanaian actress, Gloria Sarfo asserted that Ghanaian actors deserve a public apology from the organizers of the Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) over recent flight issues that left them stranded at the Kotoka International Airport (KIA).
The actors, more than 15 in number, including Abdul Salam Mumuni, Frank Rajah, Pascal Amanfo, and Akorfa Edjeani, had been invited to attend the 20th Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAAs) in Lagos, Nigeria, scheduled for Saturday, November 2, 2024.
In a social media video, the award-winning actress bitterly noted the tickets given to them as part of an “all-expense paid trip” by the AMAAs organizers were dud, failing to give them access to board their flight towards Nigeria.
Speaking, she demanded a public apology.
“We need a public apology, a press release, a communique, to the industry [and] to Ghana. We can’t take this. This was total disrespect and disregard.”
Gloria Sarfo
The actress decried and clarified that she was not in a fight with any individual.
Gloria Sarfo said private apologies issued to actors affected by the “embarrassing” incident were not enough. She said, “I won’t make it [the apology sent to her] public until they make a public apology.”
“I’m not seeking anything for myself but for the industry. Think about the legends who went to the airport as early as 5 AM and we stranded.
“If we don’t demand such things, Ghanaians will be taken forever for granted. We need to assert our value. The industry is suffering.”
Gloria Sarfo
According to the TV personality, she had long sought an opportunity to vent her spleen on some industry issues and saw this incident as a choice for such a cause.
Judith Oluwole Kuwornu, the Country Director for the Africa Movie Academy Awards, noted that what happened was unfortunate, stating that she sent a message of apology to Gloria Sarfo.
