The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has reaffirmed its commitment to the youth of Ghana, stating that they deserve a leader with a proven track record, who is prepared and dedicated to working together to build a brighter future for all Ghanaians.
This was announced in a statement signed by Joyce Mogtari Bawah, spokesperson for John Dramani Mahama.
The NDC recognized that the youths are the backbone and future of the nation, and therefore, it is imperative that the country invests in their growth, development, and empowerment to guarantee a prosperous and sustainable future for Ghana.
The NDC expressed gratitude for the overwhelming show of support and enthusiasm from Ghanaians for its vision of a better Ghana, which reaffirms its commitment to working tirelessly towards a brighter future for all.
The party also underscored that John Dramani Mahama’s powerful message during the campaign launch, warning that Ghana’s youth cannot afford to squander another four years, has struck a chord with the nation, resonating deeply with citizens from all walks of life.

Meanwhile, Deputy Minority Leader, Hon. Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, emphasized that the key to the NDC’s electoral success lies in diligent effort and effective communication of the party’s vision and policies, ensuring that the message resonates with the electorate and inspires a decisive victory.
He emphasized that the NDC will not only rely on its past accomplishments but also focus on its future plans and vision, outlining a clear roadmap for the party’s progress and the nation’s development, showcasing its commitment to moving Ghana forward.

Furthermore, Minority Chief Whip Hon. Kwame Governs Agbodza underscored the significance of the Northern Region to the NDC, after the party’s successful campaign launch in Tamale.
He stated that the region has consistently been a crucial stronghold and a vital component of the party’s support base, playing a pivotal role in shaping the party’s fortunes and success.
The MP highlighted the strong affinity between the NDC and the people of the Northern Region, pointing out that the party has consistently received overwhelming support from the region’s residents.
He also emphasized that the NDC has reciprocated this support by prioritizing the region’s development whenever it has been in power, implementing initiatives that have positively impacted the lives of the people.
According to Hon. Agbodza, the Northern Region can expect a surge in development projects and initiatives under the leadership of President Mahama, who has a proven track record of prioritizing growth nationwide.
“The most significant things you can see in this region, the roads, the airport, and everything have been part of this intervention in water supply and agriculture however there is a lot more we need to do God willing when President Mahama becomes the president.
“We know our opponents have been trying to derail us here something but we are going to do whatever is to get them to focus on our messages”.
