The transformation agenda of the Agricultural Development Bank (ADB) PLC received a major endorsement as the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Christian Tetteh Yohuno, lauded the Bank’s renewed growth momentum and strengthened customer-focused direction.
The IGP delivered his remarks at ADB’s Customer Interaction Breakfast Meeting held in Accra on Wednesday, November 12, where he served as the Special Guest of Honour.
Addressing the gathering, which included customers, board members, top management, and stakeholders from diverse sectors, the IGP praised the strides the Bank has made in recent years. He noted that ADB’s turnaround reflects “strong leadership, disciplined execution, and renewed customer confidence.” His comments highlighted the bank’s steady transition into a more responsive, customer-driven institution positioned to support economic growth.
IGP Yohuno emphasized that the Ghana Police Service stands ready to deepen collaborative efforts with ADB in ways that enhance both security and financial sector stability. He stressed that a stable, efficient banking system is critical to national development and assured the public that the Police Administration is committed to providing institutional support to reinforce that stability.
His pledge signals a promising era of strengthened cooperation between the two institutions. The Police Service’s involvement is expected to bolster operational security, protect the interests of customers, and support ADB’s long-term vision. With financial crimes on the rise globally, such partnerships are increasingly vital in safeguarding the banking ecosystem.
Customer-Centered Engagement Takes Center Stage
Welcoming participants earlier, the Deputy Managing Director in charge of Services, Mrs. Sylvia Naa Kwakai Nyante, expressed the Bank’s appreciation to customers for their loyalty and active engagement. She encouraged them to consistently share feedback to enable ADB to continually enhance its services. According to her, the Bank’s focus on customer interaction remains central to its transformation agenda.
The Managing Director, Mr. Edward Ato Sarpong, led a highly interactive feedback session that allowed customers to voice their experiences directly to the Bank’s leadership. Participants offered practical insights on innovations, service quality, operational processes, product offerings, digital channels, and turnaround time. The session underscored ADB’s openness to customer-driven reforms and its commitment to refining the bank’s operational framework.
The Customer Interaction Breakfast Meeting forms part of ADB’s broader “Beyond Banking” agenda. This transformative initiative aims to redefine the role of the bank by empowering businesses, building sustainable futures, nurturing communities, and driving national prosperity. ADB continues to implement reforms designed to strengthen its service excellence and enhance customer trust.
The feedback session was therefore not merely ceremonial but a strategic tool to gather insights that will shape the next phase of the Bank’s transformation. With the support of stakeholders including the Ghana Police Service, ADB is seeking to become more customer-centric, agile, and technologically advanced.
High-Level Networking Strengthens Institutional Bonds
The event concluded with an engaging networking session that brought together ADB’s customers, board members, senior management, and key stakeholders. The atmosphere reflected the Bank’s commitment to fostering stronger institutional relationships that support its growth and service delivery strategy.
Participants expressed satisfaction with the level of engagement and the bank’s willingness to listen, learn, and adapt. Many highlighted the importance of such forums in shaping a banking experience that is truly responsive to the needs of customers.
The event saw the presence of several notable officials from ADB, demonstrating management’s unified commitment to the bank’s transformation.

Members of the Board of Directors present included Wing Commander Samuel J.A. Allotey, Siisi Essuman-Ocran, Courage Akanwunge Asabagna, Hon. Andrew Dari Chiwitey, and Godwyll Ansah, Board Secretary.
