The Ministry of Health has firmly denied claims of a nationwide shortage of antiretroviral medicines (ARVs), responding directly to a press statement issued by the Network of Persons Living with HIV in Ghana (NAP+ Ghana) that suggested such a shortage exists.
Addressing the concerns raised, the Ministry said it had taken note of NAP+ Ghana’s press release but wished to categorically clarify the facts surrounding the availability of ARVs at health facilities across the country, while reaffirming its commitment to constructive engagement with the organisation.
