Ghanaian award-winning artist, Medikal has disclosed that he is not into any fraudulent activities like some people are speculating.
This disclosure follows several rumors about him [Medikal], acquiring his wealth through fraudulent activities. However speaking in an interview, he revealed that all the money he has, is as a result of his music career. He also stated that
“Honestly in my whole life, I don’t remember ever touching money that is from fraud. I am not into fraud… or use my intelligence to fraud someone. Every money I spend, looking flashy and all, is from my music”.

That notwithstanding, he recently travelled outside of the country to America. He revealed that it was money he received from his music on ‘Itunes, tune call’ account that he used to fund his ticket and stay over there.
“I had over 40,000 dollars [222,800 Ghana cedis] in my Itunes, tune call. I just want everyone to understand that you can record music and make genuine money. You can get money from shows… not only that but also from being brand endorsements as well… I don’t want to be asked about fraud anymore. Because it gives the youth the perception that if they are doing music, they should also be into fraud. That’s not right; that’s not the way forward”.

MEDIKAL NO LONGER INTO ‘BEEFS’
Speaking about ‘beef’ in the music industry, he said he is no longer interested in such brawls since he has already gained the attention he needs. He further said he has gotten to a point that it will be very hard to see him ‘beef’ a fellow artist moving forward.
“I don’t believe in those things. If you see or hear of me going back and forth with someone, it is a real thing not just for hype. However, right now I am not into that anymore because I don’t need all of these kind of ‘beef’ to get a hit song. At the end of the day, I am just doing my work. Recently Teephlow tried it but I just kept mute because I wasn’t interested in that drama”.

That aside, Medikal is set to release his latest Extended Playlist (EP) ‘Amazing Grace’ tomorrow. He admonished all and sundry to brace themselves for it since it’s going to be ‘lit’. It is worth noting that, the EP has five amazing tracks on it which features some of Ghana’s A-list artists including Kuami Eugne. Meanwhile, there was several controversies over the EP’s cover artwork. He used the face of his daughter, Island, as the cover and that was the first time ever the baby’s face was revealed. In the picture of the artwork, he was dressed in a black attire to compliment his daughter’s all white dress.
