Ghanaian comedian and entertainer, DKB has fired back at Akuapem Poloo’s manager calling him an ‘imposter’.
This comes after the manager of the actress warned DKB to stop the alleged fundraising he is organizing to help Akuapem Poloo and her son while the actress spends time in prison.
DKB intimated that the manager has defamed him and caused him “public shame”. Therefore, he will be filing a case against him. He further noted that the supposed manager of Akuapem Poloo isn’t under any binding contract with the actress to even claim that position. So, he [manager of Akuapem Poloo] should stop claiming that he is the manager of Akuapem Poloo.
“I will charge you for it. I’ll file a case nicely for defamation, undermining my integrity, and demeaning my personal dignity causing me public shame. I will charge you for it. You are a manager; you don’t have a binding contract and you are posing as a manager, imposter! I will let the laws deal with you. Right now, it is the law era. I won’t insult you or anything. I’ll just let the law deal with you”.
DKB in talks with lawyer to sue Jones
Questioning what Akuapem Poloo’s management has done for her after she was imprisoned, DKB went on to iterate that he will file a case against Jones. He further stated that he is already in talks with his lawyer and that he won’t go easy on Akuapem Poloo’s manager.
“What did I do? Just help a sister out. For all the days that this has been going on, what has management done to reach out to people who want to help Rosemond? What has management done? This means that you hate me and you hate Rosemond because I am trying to help and you want to stop me. It only shows that you hate her progress. My brother, you won’t be happy. I was talking to my lawyer, I will file a case against you”.
DKB who is the supposed ‘God father’ of Akuapem Poloo mentioned the fact that he was part of the few people who brought her to the limelight. Therefore, if anyone should even claim to be her manager then it should be him and not Jones.
“Where were you when we were holding Akuapem Poloos hand bringing her to the industry? What have you done? As a matter of fact, I’m even supposed to claim manager for Akuapem Poloo. Giving her guidance as to what she is supposed to do. What have you done?… I have all the evidence and will present them in court. When you are invited, then you come and defend yourself”.
DKB solicits funds to help Akuapem Poloo
It can be recalled that just after Akuapem Poloo was imprisoned, DKB took the initiative to solicit funds to help Akuapem Poloo and her son. The donation flyer read that people who want to donate should donate an amount of money exceeding thousand Ghana cedis. However, this didn’t sit well with the management of Akuapem Poloo and asked that DKB slows down with whatever donations he has considered.
