Israel Believed To Be Fighting A Lost Battle

Israel Says Truce Violated In Northern Gaza

A picture released by the IDF shows Israeli soldiers in the Gaza Strip.

Failure they say, is an orphan. Nonetheless, sometimes accepting defeat is better than sacrificing the lives of innocent people for an ambitious goal.

Currently, the Israeli society is caught in between ending the war to secure the return of hostages and the need to see Hamas decimated.

Gone are the halcyon days of swift triumphs over multiple Arab adversaries; now, Israel finds itself ensnared in a quagmire.

An expert’s insights cut through the fog of war, revealing a precarious reality for Israel.

Speaking with the Vaultz News, Dan Rakiya, a Global Security maven, dropped a bombshell, saying that one thing that people don’t want to accept is that “Israel has lost the war.”

Rakiya, known for his incisive analysis, dismantled the illusion of Israeli invincibility, highlighting Israel’s prolonged struggle against Hamas in Gaza.

“Israel once used six days to vanquish five Arab countries. It’s been battling Hamas for eight months in the tiny Gaza Strip that has been blockaded for 17 years. Do you think Israel is strong?,” he queried

He iterated that Israel hast lost the war “but the cost of the defeat is too expensive for Israel to accept. Too bitter for Israel to swallow.”

“Per [Benjamin] Netanyahu’s own assertion, it needs seven months more. So for Israel who used days to destroy five Arab countries to require almost a year to finish Hamas tells you that Israel has lost the initiative on the battlefield.”

Dan Rakiya

He mentioned that Hamas will not accept a temporal end to the fight and will stick to the demand that not a single territory of Gaza will be under Israeli control.

“Is Netanyahu willing to fight for long and for how long? And how long will U.S continue to back Netanyahu’s genocide. Going to the election, the figures are looking bad for [Joe] Biden and that’s why he brought the ceasefire so the more the figures look bad for him, he may be forced to impose condition on Israel.”

Dan Rakiya

Rakiya didn’t mince words about Biden’s recent ceasefire proposal, dismissing it as a ploy to alleviate political pressure.

“First of all, the ceasefire issue is just a lie. There’s no ceasefire on the table,” Rakiya asserted

He added, “That is Biden trying to reduce the pressure on him. Because if you tell us a ceasefire comes from Israel, why is Israel reluctant to accept the ceasefire and implement it then.”

Also, Rakiya emphasized that even if Israel negotiates and accepts ceasefire, the damage to its reputation has been completed.

“The damage to its moral argument has been sealed. And the loss of prestige by the Western world, Britain, America, has been exposed. The hypocrisy has been exposed,” he added.

“So, the biggest loser, whether on the political front, diplomatic front, or the military front, will be Israel. And it is the sum total of this defeat that Israel is finding very difficult to accept. And when the truth comes out after the war, then that is when people realize that Israel has indeed not just lost the fight to achieve its goal, but has incurred a h igh cost in terms of military casualties.”

Dan Rakiya

“So, are you by any means suggesting that Israel continues to fight?” To this question, the Global security expert remarked, “Israel may want to fight, but I don’t think it will continue to fight. At a certain point, it will have to surrender to accept ceasefire.”

Israel Not A Match For Hezbollah

Moreover, in his exclusive dialogue with the Vaultz News, Dan Rakiya shed light on a crucial aspect often overlooked; Hezbollah’s backing of Hamas, potentially opening a northern front.

Rakiya cautioned that if Hamas’ survival is threatened, Hezbollah may be forced to open a northern front.

Rakiya emphasized Israel’s dependence on Western support

“And as it stands, Israel cannot fight on two fronts. Even single handedly without western backing, Israel wouldn’t be able to fight in Gaza because it was receiving chunks of weapons continuously to fight. Meaning, without the western backing, Israel cannot even fight Hamas.

“So even if Hamas decides not to fight and Hezbollah opens a northern front, Israel cannot withstand Hezbollah at the moment without an American backing. So it looks as if Israel will ultimately have to accept ceasefire at some point in time. But the question is, at what point and at what cost?

Dan Rakiya

“Let me be very clear. Israel is not a match for Hezbollah today,” the expert asserted.

He noted that for the first time in the history of Israel-Arab confrontation, a buffer zone is now created within Israel, not outside Israel.

“Israeli civilians have moved away from the northern part of Israel to central Israel… meaning Hezbollah successfully imposed a buffer zone within Israel itself, which is a first victory,” he stated.

He mentioned Hezbollah shooting down Israeli drones and targeted Israeli surveillance facilities across the northern borders.

“Israel will be fighting with one eye open,” he said.

Nonetheless, Rakiya admitted that nobody wants to see a regional war “because Iran can channel fighters from Iraq through Syria, so Hezbollah would not lack manpower to fight.”

“Hezbollah has proven that they have the determination, if not the weapon, to do that. So Israel cannot afford to fight, if it is struggling to fight Hamas, which is weaker than Hezbollah, it tells you Israel cannot withstand Hezbollah.”

Dan Rakiya

“Hamas has just given Israel a surprise. Hezbollah will bury it,” he averred.
