Ghanaian and Athletic Club footballer, Inaki Williams, has disclosed that Ajax is becoming too small for his Black Stars teammate, Mohammed Kudus, who is on the ‘hotcake’ for many European Clubs.
Inaki, who had the opportunity to play with Kudus in September and at the Mundial, described the Ajax star as a complete player.
The 22-year-old is having his best season with the Dutch giants, with explosive performances in the UEFA Champions League before starring displays at the 2022 World Cup skyrocketed his reputation as one of the best U23 players in Europe.
“I think Ajax is starting to get too small for him and hopefully he will make the leap to a big club soon. I would have liked him to have had a Basque family member to be able to bring him to Bilbao because he is a bomb, he is a machine.
“He is very complete and with his young age, he still has a lot of room for improvement.”

According to Inaki Williams, he has already told his club mates Kudus is the standout player he has seen in the Black Stars team. “I was already aware of him before coming because I had heard about him and had seen his goals. When I played the last national team break with him, he already surprised me a lot,” he disclosed.

Mohammed Kudus was more than Ghana’s star player at this years World Cup. He is an example of the next generation of footballer emerging through the prolific Right to Dream academy.
Currently, Kudus is the name on many people’s lips right now, following his two fantastic performances at the World Cup for Ghana so far. He excelled for the Black Stars in their games against Portugal and South Korea .
Kudus made headlines for grabbing a brace against Korea, and showcasing his fantastic pace and dribbling.
It is reported that Liverpool is keen on the player, and that Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United have asked about his current situation. Several clubs from abroad are taking an interest. Borussia Dortmund, PSG, Lyon, Napoli and Atletico Madrid have all been alerted to his progress in Qatar.
Apparently the player’s value has now doubled as a result of his exploits in Qatar. Ajax would want at least £30 million for him now. Wolves Club was linked with Kudus towards the end of the last transfer window.
It will be very interesting to see which club will be lucky enough to snap up Kudus. The star looks a serious talent, and it is not just his performances at the World Cup that are a suggestion of this. Kudus has been electric for Ajax this season as well, scoring 10 goals already for the Dutch giants.
